On April 26, the promotional event for “Blanc de Chine · Dehua Porcelain” at the 139th Canton Fair was held at the Central Platform. County Party Secretary Fang Junqin and other leaders attended the event.
At the venue, performances including Harmony of All Sounds, Flying Apsaras of Dunhuang, The Flowing “Core”, Colorful Blanc de Chine, and Qinyuanchun · Quanzhou were presented under the theme “One White Resonance, All Things in Harmony.” Through immersive cultural showcases and presentations, the event integrated the Oriental aesthetics of Dehua white porcelain—“as white as congealed cream, as smooth as jade”—with modern intelligent manufacturing and digital technology. With striking visual impact and an international aesthetic expression, it allowed the audience to closely experience the unique artistic charm and innovative vitality of the “World Ceramics Capital.”
Fang Junqin stated that Dehua has always borne in mind General Secretary Xi Jinping’s earnest instruction to “dare to pursue dreams and venture into the world,” and has unswervingly followed a path of internationalization. At present, the scale of the county’s ceramic industry cluster has exceeded 76 billion yuan, with products exported to more than 190 countries and regions. Efforts are underway to reach the goal of surpassing 100 billion yuan by 2027.
He expressed his expectation that business partners from around the world will visit the Dehua exhibition area to explore opportunities and deepen cooperation. He also warmly invited all to pay attention to Dehua and visit in person to experience the charm of the millennium porcelain capital, appreciate the elegance of white porcelain, and jointly discuss future development.
At the promotion event, several projects were successfully signed, including the Heyu Ceramics Health Insulated Cup Intelligent Production Project, the High-end Daily-use Porcelain Production and E-commerce Livestreaming Base Project, and the Quanzhou Intelligent Automotive Electronics Industrial Park Project. These projects span fields such as intelligent manufacturing, green energy, ceramic industry upgrading, and digital e-commerce, injecting strong new momentum into the county’s high-quality economic and social development.
At this year’s Canton Fair, the county organized 99 participations from ceramic enterprises, setting up 250 booths across Zones A and B of the exhibition halls. In addition, more than 60 enterprises were organized to establish exhibition areas totaling over 2,000 square meters at the Jinhan Exhibition Hall and Zhongdai Trade Plaza. A comprehensive range of ceramic精品—integrating intangible cultural heritage craftsmanship, modern design, and practical functionality—was showcased, attracting numerous domestic and international buyers for visits, appreciation, and business negotiations.
On the same day, County Party Secretary Fang Junqin led heads of relevant departments to visit Dehua ceramic enterprises participating in the Canton Fair and at Zhongdai Plaza. He engaged in in-depth discussions with company representatives on topics such as the zeroing of export tax rebates for ceramic products and responses to EU anti-dumping measures, including new product development, digital and intelligent transformation, and the exploration of new markets. He also gained detailed insights into visiting clients, newly exhibited products, and order transactions.
